( and, admittedly, sometimes bewildered, a fact he's sure noctis is well aware of. ) still, when those moments do come about, he allows himself a small moment of pride to shiver through him, the smallest smile to creep along the line of his mouth when he catches his young prince completing homework assignments much earlier than the evening before they're due. or reading the handful of reports he'd given him just the day before for the upcoming meeting he was to attend.
